Nur El Amar

Nur El Amar (Moonlight) was founded in January 1997 by Gabriella. It was her desire to bring a quality group performance onto the stage. She also wanted to show that dance is always evolving and changing. She did not choose the women of the group because of their age or size. Their development as dancers was decisive and their willingness to learn and mature. One of the goals was to work on themselves and on the group.

Nur El Amar perform at large events as well as on smaller private festivities. Choreographies and dancers are chosen according to the nature of the event. Nur El Amar´s repertoire include lavish dance routines, solos, duetts or mystic fire dances. Experimental dance performances and folkloristic style are also part of their repertoire.
The costumes of Nur El Amar are especially designed and made for the group by our designer. The choreographies are done by Gabriella and are then refined together with the group. At the moment Nur El Amar consists of 7 dancers: Monira, Manou, Judana Hasna, Habiba, Rahima and Amina.
